Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between gagebu (gagebu.co.kr, "Company") and its users ("Members") regarding the use of the online financial ledger and money management services provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service" refers to the online household financial ledger system, analytical reports, and related features accessible via gagebu.co.kr on any desktop or mobile device.
  • "Member" means an individual who registers an account with the Company in accordance with these Terms and uses the Services.
  • "Account Credentials" refers to the Username/Email and encrypted password, or authorized Google OAuth identifiers used to authenticate the Member.

Article 3 (Provision of Services & Data Retention Policy)

1. The Company provides the following features:

  • Income, expense, and transfer transaction recording and balance synchronization
  • Monthly closing statements, charts, and categorized expenditure trends
  • Budget management and analytical forecasting
  • Anniversary and financial memo management
  • Past ledger archive download functionality

2. [5-Year Retention & Auto-Purging] To maintain system stability and database optimization, transaction records older than five (5) years from their creation date are automatically and permanently purged on a scheduled basis.
3. Members may download and archive their historical records at any time before reaching the 5-year limit via [Data Management > Download Archive]. The Company assumes no restoration liability for data purged in accordance with this policy.

Article 4 (Account Termination and Deletion)

Members may terminate their account at any time via the [Profile > Delete Account] menu. Upon account deletion, all personal ledger data associated with the user is permanently and irreversibly purged from our database.

Article 5 (Limitation of Liability)

1. The Service is provided "as is" for personal bookkeeping and budgeting assistance and does not constitute official tax, investment, or legal advice.
2. The Company shall not be held liable for temporary service interruptions due to natural disasters, maintenance, power failure, or telecommunication issues.

Article 6 (Governing Law)

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
